Fred the Knight was so grieve in what did to the blond damsel. He sought
repentance in the gueling kitchen of the local tavern. It was dank and
damp. He kept seeing her in his mind the once beautiful face Astra. So
beautiful so lovely, he thought to himself.
The owner nearly spitting at him, ordered,"Dishes aren't even cleaned." He
began beating him with a whip.
"I am hurring as fast as I can. There's so many." Then he begged, "Please
have mercy."
Before he could strike again, a young lord was standing behind him. He was
pale complexion and unusual dark eyes beamed, "That will be enough
Mcgruff. The beating of this man will serve no purpose here. Leave now I
want to talk with him."
"Yes, your lordship as you say." He bowed leaving them alone.
"I want to talk to you about Sir Fred. I like for you to stay at my
castle, meet a few of my lady friends, wine and dine. Then I want you to
serve me as the Knight of the Grey. There is a catch to my serving, you
will never never return to your old way of life."
Sir Fred stood there listening as he hands, shoulders were deep in dirty
soapy water, and vermon scraping at the walls, driving mad. He could not
believe this man's request. He was stunned.
