The Rescue of Rachel

"The question," said E'eysha, breaking the silence at last, "is: what are we going to do about it?"

Betty draws a deep breath to steady herself.

Ragan, understanding why (she'd been shaken herself by the movie) nods and gives a reassuring smile to her ‘sister.'

"We seem to have a general....if not exact plan of what will happen," Betty begins, reasoning it out, "Though.....it's always possible for real life to depart from the script. The fact that Zavitz is still alive...as well as Bloom....is proof enough."

"But if we change it too much....without shutting Reynolds down....and good!.....we may well lose a valuable edge," Ragan chimed in, sharing similar logic due to her identical mind.

"So we allow some events to play out....as distasteful as it is," the Doctor sighs, "At least......

"Up until the next murder...that is," the Time Lord says, a voice with steel in it.

"So we must rescue Rachel Banks then," Nyssa finally says, "Now that the question of what must be done is answered, the next thing to ask is: ‘Who will do it?' and ‘How do we do it?'"

The heroes got down to the serious business of planning. Thus, they break into two groups. One would shadow the DC labor lawyer, Robert Dean, that Zavitz had slip the video of the murder in order to make sure that at least he remained healthy enough (and uncaptured long enough) until the situation was right for the heroes to strike. The other group.......
