The Never Ending Quest - Episode 12806

Lord Fred watches with regret as the odd beam of light, called a 'laser' by Dr. Savok, turns his captive into a pile of ashes.
Fred would have done something but Savok, formerly the king's physician, had several dozen henchmen in the next room, easily seen from this high position.
Nothing could be done now, except to gain intelligence. That such a crazed madman as Savok is working inside the dragon's caverns is only cause for concern. What that mad-man had done to the delegate from the Floating Isles had almost caused a war! And the delegate was still alive at the end.
Until Emry put the poor man out his misery with one well-place dagger thrust.
Lord Fred carefully backed away into the shadows.

  1. Soon he found a strange small dog that seemed oddly intelligent.
  2. He found a clothed princess chained to a chair.
  3. One of the henchmen looked up.
  4. The 'laser' moved and shot light at Fred. It missed by inches.
  5. Three hours later, Fred was outside under the bright night moon. Against his will. Uh-oh.
  6. Fred sees a shiny chunk of metal roll by.
