Fred and Velus explore the forest

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1227

The two venture into the forest.
They soon come upon a clearing surrounded by large boulders. In the middle is a gigantic, metal circle, empty in the middle.. It seems to be one band of metal set upon another. Both bands were covered in arcane symbols.
Another smaller circle was set in the grass to the right. It was solid all the way through. This had thicker bands that seemed to be able to rotate over each other and each symbol on it was capable of being pressed down. The inside of the circle was one giant red button.
Fred felt a lot of energy in the circle. It made Velus' hair stand on end.
"Haw, haw!" Fred chuckled. Velus growled.

  1. Press some of the buttons at random. Including the big red one.
  2. The two leave the clearing.
  3. The larger disc begans spinning about. The air in the circle shimmers.
  4. Fred is killed by an arrow. Velus runs off.
