Fred leapt a gorge. He climbed a rockfall. He hid behind several barrels
of wine. All this and more was needed to escape the rampaging bandits. Fred rested up in a costume storage room. (According to the sign, the Dragon's men also liked to put on plays as part of a morale booster). Dozens of boxes, some stacked to the ceiling, spilled out gaudy costumes and fake swords. Fred recognized the Phantom mask, a prop for a classic play concerning a disfigured dwarf who lived in a value-less mine and played love songs for a human on his Crifestinton. Hold on, someone is also hiding here! Fred tackles them from out behind a box.
