To Andrea's surprise, rather than handing her the scroll the translucent creature unrolled it and commenced reading it aloud. "Andrea, please try to contain your excitement, because its EPISODE 100,000!" and suddenly there were loud explosions, the room darkened and then lit up with laser lights from everywhere, loud music began playing, balloons fell from the ceiling, and a massive quantity of people appeared in the room. They all looked rather surprised. Not that Andrea would recognize everyone, but now the room appeared to contain a huge amount of party goers, all with little hats that said "100k Eps!" on them. Andrea was not sure what that meant, but it seemed to be a concept that made her smile. She felt on top of her own head and was not surprised to find a hat. Suddenly, a spotlight fell onto a stage that Andrea was sure had not been there before. In fact, what little of the room she could see through the flashing lights appeared to be a large lounge area, with long tables covered in food and drink, shag carpet on the floor, and comfy lounge chairs around circular tables. She found that she was sitting in a rather incredibly comfortable leather chair, and sighed contentedly. It was finally the 100k episode party! Wait, what? A man jumped on stage from behind a red curtain, wearing a sparkly and shimmery suit and a garish glowing red tie. His hair was unkempt, his eyes manic, and his grin disturbing. "Hey, f%&@ers!" he yelled into the microphone. Wait, what was a microphone? "Are you ready to get this party started?!" Everyone, Andrea included, yelled and whistled and affirmed that, yes, they were in fact ready to get the party started, and as soon as possible. "Alright!" yelled the man again, "well my name, like you don't already know it, is Scott Childers and I want to welcome you to the Never-Ending Quest's one hundred thousandth episode party!" The crowd roared again. "As you all know, a bunch of us found refuge here in the re-formed Tall Variance of the Tower aka the Staircase. Without this place we wouldn't have had anywhere to go. We are never going to forget that, we never will." there was a loud shout of affirmation. "Now that Horsehockey has re-formed, we have our home back, but we will always keep coming back to visit and re-affirm our love of this place. Now, enough mushy crap. Tonight is about honoring the real heroes, the stars of NEQ!" again, thunderous applause. "First, lets bring Sir Fred up to the stage!" and a man wearing a highly polished and ornate suit of armor stood up at the front of the crowd and got onto the stage. "Come on, Fred, take the mic and say a few words!" Lord Fred took the mic as Scott stepped off to the side. "That's Lord Fred," he said, provoking a riotous fit of laughter from the audience. "Look, I do not want to make everyone delay in partaking this excellent feast that is spread before us, and indeed I see Belboz is already helping himself to several plates and drinks, but I have a few words prepared." Lord Fred coughed, then continued.
